ire'ne lara silva is a writer coming to present a program on her experiences in writing and getting published. Her 3 o'clock session will focus on Poetry and her 4 o'clock session for El Progreso Club will focus on Short Story writing. Her fees and expenses are being sponsored by the Texas Commission on the Arts as part of a rural outreach program funding performances by Texas artists to designated counties, including Uvalde.
