DESCRIPTION:May is Mental Health Awareness Month. Uvalde County Mental Health Clinic has partnered with the Military Veterans Peer Support Network and Uvalde Consolidated Independent School District to have a 5K Color Run/Walk and 1 Mile Color Run/Walk. Our goal is to educate the community about mental illness\, how and where to get treatment and to ease the stigma associated with mental illness. We want to create an environment where people feel comfortable discussing mental illness without fear or shame.
