Chamber Launches New Website, Expanded Networking Opportunities, and More

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Uvalde Chamber of Commerce Announces New Website, Member Networking and More

Uvalde, TX – The Uvalde Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce a host of new member benefits and resources that will help the Chamber continue to connect, support and serve local businesses. The Chamber has recently launched a new interactive website that features a searchable business directory and an updated community events calendar for locals and visitors alike to find out what’s new in Uvalde.

“We want to continue finding ways to provide value to our members,” MJ Miller, Chamber Executive Director said. “We hope the new website will allow us to better highlight our businesses and keep our community connected and informed about everything going on in Uvalde.”

In addition to a new website, the Chamber will host more frequent networking opportunities for members. The first event will be a casual “Chamber After Hours” mixer on Wednesday, March 25 from 5:15PM - 7:15PM at the Uvalde Chamber of Commerce. 340 N. Getty St., Uvalde, TX. Members are encouraged to bring their business cards and mingle with other local professionals. Drinks and light snacks will be provided.

This year the Chamber will also launch a podcast highlighting its members. The podcast will dive into what makes Uvalde’s business community so special and will feature interviews with members about their businesses, why they chose Uvalde, and what they love about entrepreneurship in Southwest Texas.

Both members and residents are invited to visit the Chamber’s new website to search the online member directory, stay up-to-date with the community calendar and learn about upcoming programs, mixer events, ribbon cutting ceremonies and more. “We are always looking for ways to grow as Uvalde’s business community,” Miller said. “These new resources are just a few of the many ways we hope to continue doing that.”
